Look out the window and picture what object, structure, animal, or plant a cloud’s shape could be — re-connect with nature; re-connect with childhood
Adults, teenagers, children, elders, tweens, and toddlers alike are traversing such anxious times amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. Around the globe, we’re in our homes, hoping that it will somehow stop — hoping that it will all go back to normal. It seems as if all we have is time. On some days, time feels stretched, moving in slow-motion; on other days, it’s nighttime again in a blink of an eye. Life feels like it’s on halt… for the time being… but until when? With so much changing all around us, do your best to take each day as it comes. Find personalised ways to unwind; try not to judge yourself for what you need / feels good in the moment. Look with kinder, more alert eyes at the world about us. Learn to take a fresh view at the little things we see each day that may feel flattened or clichéd. And, considering that the saying the eyes are the windows to the soul is truer than ever, know that social distancing doesn’t have to mean disconnection. Know that we’re all in this together –– and we’ll make it out together.
